Sunderland Software City + Sunderland City Council Placement (September 2025 - Present)

During my time as a Digital Innovator with SSC and SCC, I have been working on a variety of different projects and events, such as:

Neurodiversity Toolkit

For the neurodiversity toolkit, me and AZAL created a PDF slide deck on different software/hardware which could be reasonable adjustments to help those with neurodiversities at work.

Coalfields Computing Camp

I have been hosting a bookable club in my local library, where young people can come to play games, learn programming, as well as use the podcasting equipment. In this, I have assisted with setting up safety features, and ensuring all the technology is safe and secure for young people to use.

Device Bank and Community Calling

I have been assisting with the Device Bank and Community Calling project, where I have helped people in financial hardship get access to technology, such as phones and laptops. We donated refurbished phones, and had old laptops set up with Linux, to be used by anyone who may have needed them.

CyberSafe (February - March 2025)

I had taken part in a quest with Lumi.Network to create a concept for a cybersecurity solution with my group. CyberSafe was designed to be a platform which educated people on cybersecurity, so they could better protect their services. We also provided examples of existing solutions which could help out.
